Although we’re well into the Fall season, we wanted to offer our fans some insights into our newest collection and describe some of the inspiration, motivation and key elements that became integral aspects of this dramatic and invigorating line.

Our MPG 2011 Fall Collection continues our tradition of stressing fashion forward styling and detailing in garments that retain a technical edge. For women, we’ve drawn inspiration from the runways in the fashion centres around the world to bring you color-blocking treatments utilizing the hottest tones of the season. Using heathered grey as our base, we’ve accented neutrals with high-pop hues such as tangerine, indigo, azure and lipstick. The colors are bright, intense, exciting and most importantly, motivating and invigorating.

Not unlike previous collections, trim details add a feminine touch. Once again reflecting the prevalent trends from haute couture, we’ve indulged in animal prints, specifically zebra, in a jacquard fabrication to gently accent and elevate otherwise basic pieces with a hint of glamour. Also, reflective scalloped edging has been added to maintain technical performance aspects.
Finally, our silhouettes have been drastically diversified. The active side has remained sleek, smooth and streamlined but our lifestyle side has been expanded to create more styles featuring a softer drape and relaxed fit. The result is a full line of women’s active/lifestyle garments unparalleled in design and construction.
Holiday 2011 features exciting, shimmering textures in our champagne jersey pieces which ultimately imbue each style with a luxe feel. The holiday line, like the entire Fall Collection, never sacrifices function and always remains chic.

For men, we’ve strongly adhered to active detailing which reflects trending toward the performance side. Contrast color stitching and color-blocking details have been added to classically styled tops and bottoms to create striking pieces that not only accentuate movement and performance but also look great while doing so. The palette has been updated to include orange and green accents to our base tones of intense blue, charcoal and classic black.
